Our Wedding

Like so many modern love stories, ours began on a dating app.At the time, we were both just about ready to take a break from dating. But for some reason, Kerry decided to send Zack a message, and for some reason, Zack decided to reply. Before taking that break, we agreed to meet for a drink and some sushi at Yuki and see if there was anything there.What we discovered was a conversation that never seemed to end.Over the years, we have shared our days, our frustrations, our hopes, our dreams, our fears, and countless funny things we found online. Through life’s highs and lows, and through seasons when things felt easy and seasons when they felt anything but, we never stopped talking. No matter what challenges we faced, we couldn’t imagine our lives without the other in them.Then, during a trip to Mexico, something clicked. We went on the trip as two people who cared deeply for one another and returned knowing there was something even greater between us. The bond we had spent years building became something undeniable. Long before the proposal, we both knew on that flight home that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.Looking back, we believe God was guiding our story all along. While it took us a little time to figure it out, He knew exactly what He was doing. He brought us together at just the right time, and we are so grateful that our journey led us to each other.We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.

Wedding Party

Our wedding will be outdoors, and we want everyone to feel comfortable while celebrating with us. Think dressy, relaxed, and ready for a beautiful afternoon together.Khakis and a collared shirt, a sport coat, a dress, or similar attire are all great choices. Feel free to dress up as much or as little as you'd like within that range. Please keep in mind that the ceremony and reception will be held on grass.

LOCATION: Wedding Ceremony will begin at 2:30pm at Sadler Higgins Park, located at 521 H E Johnson Road in Alvaton. Directions: From I-65 at Scottsville Rd, travel south on US-231S / Scottsville Road for approximately 3.5 miles. Turn left on Wilson Road (look for Split Tree BBQ on left). Go straight through the two way stop and continue for 1/2 mile, staying right on Bay's Fork Road for another 1.6 miles. Turn left on H E Johnson Road and look for 521 H E Johnson Rd approximately 4/10 of a mile on the left. For our out-of-town guests: Please reach out to Kerry or Zack at least a month before the wedding if you would like recommendations or assistance with lodging arrangements. While we have not reserved a hotel room block, we would be happy to help coordinate accommodations whenever possible.

Travel

Things to Do Looking for something to do the night before the wedding or after the celebration? Try one of our favorite date nights!Head downtown for a drink at Copper Bar followed by dinner at Gerard's Tavern. While you're there, take a stroll through Fountain Square Park and visit the spot where this whole wedding adventure began.Traveling with kids? A visit to Chaney's Dairy Barn is always a favorite. If you're looking for something a little faster-paced, you can watch drivers tackle the track or even book your own experience at the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park.
